Formerly known as Mitunguu Technical, Mitunguu National Polytechnic (MINAP) has grown into a leading institution for hands-on skills training in Kenya. MINAP is a leading public institution licensed and registered by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVET) under the TVET Act (Cap 17, Laws of Kenya). The institute is located along Mati Road, 1.5 kilometers from Mitunguu Market in Mitunguu Ward, Imenti South Constituency, Meru County. It is 32 kilometers from Meru Town, 17 kilometers from Nkubu, and approximately 235 kilometers northeast of Nairobi.
